Incident Management
An Interactive Experience
Using role play to give the incident scenario both realism and complexity, the workshop aims to achieve immersion in the incident management process and to place the delegates into 'the zone' of confidence, clarity and ability in responding to a set of security incident scenarios. Our scenarios are not static; they develop over the course of the workshop - sometimes in unplanned (but always controlled) directions. This adds to the realism and helps the delegates to manage unexpected events. Because the workshop is residential there is an open working schedule which can extend late into the evening and is again supported by our experts in an exciting and credible environment.
The Venue
The course is spread over 3 days at Highley Manor near Gatwick Airport. The venue is remote and ideal for a residential course requiring immersion. The need for an early start on day one necessitates overnight stay at Highley Manor prior to the workshop start.
Full accommodation and meals are provided in a warm and friendly environment. Evening working may be required.
We use a wireless LAN to establish an Incident Response environment comprising of a 'Control' (not accessible to delegates) and a 'Theatre' where the incident scenarios are enacted. There is a degree of variation which we have learned is a positive benefit in that it allows the incident(s) to develop. The control moves the incidents in phases giving an opportunity for the delegates to switch roles.
