Training and Education

QCC offer quality information security training courses both in package form and individually. Each of our courses count towards an academic qualification for those who choose to apply.

Our lead academic course is delivered in partnership with Royal Holloway, University of London, and the Information Security Group (ISG) to provide a Postgraduate Certificate & Diploma in Information Security.

The Certificate and Diploma are intended as a foundation for a professional career as well as for postgraduate research in Information Security. Graduates of the qualifications are expected to find employment in both industry and commerce as security experts, and the need for such experts is likely to be high for the foreseeable future. It consists of a number of compulsory and optional taught courses, which are delivered by a team of experienced professional practitioners and University staff. Three short essays follow course attendance and an individual project dissertation carried out under the supervision of a member of the Royal Holloway Information Security Group. Successful candidates for the Diploma will receive membership of the prestigious ISG alumni and the credentials ‘Dip. InfoSec’.
