Blackthorn CaseBook

CaseBook is an activity pack for our Blackthorn security management product. Backthorn is an out-of-the-box solution for managing all activities related to sensitive operations and issues.

The CaseBook activity pack turns your implementation of QCC's award winning Blackthorn web application, into a simple to use system that will enable your organisation's investigation team to manage their cases with high degrees of security, integrity and accountability.

We have designed CaseBook for use with the Standard edition of the Blackthorn product in request to the many thousands of users who use our CaseNotes tool for keeping contemporaneous notes in their investigations and who have a need for an easy-to-use and affordable tool to assist the management of investigative cases.

In addition to the CaseNotes functionality in one-way, high integrity logs, CaseBook delivers a range of other great features to enable you to build and analyse intelligence regarding the places, people, assets, evidential items and many other objects that may be associated with your cases.

Workflow is provided to support repeatable and accountable processes. You can use the Canvas to describe situations graphically.

The role-based access control system in CaseBook delivers a highly secure environment with confidentiality and separation (where needed), between users who may be working on a range of cases.

The CaseBook activity pack has been designed specifically for small teams using Blackthorn SE for managing investigative cases.
