QCC experts move into their new Digital Forensics lab this week. After months of design and customisation, the new lab incorporating separately secured sections for imaging and analysis and a highly secure exhibits store (designed at the heart of the lab with no external walls) is ready to go!
"The practise we have followed in separating the work of the imaging technicians and forensic experts, together with our rigorous Quality Assurance system, ensures integrity of the process and quality of the final product." remarked Phil Swinburne, Director of QCC and the ex-Specialist Police Adviser to the UK National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU).
The DF Lab is designed to provide services to both law enforcement and commercial organisations requiring high levels of expertise and diligence in the investigation of computer misuse and crime.
